At work, we would make sure that all stations and functions of the restaurant were secure and clean. We organized and prepared for the hours we were assigned and work together.
I learned how to work at the required pace needed for the particular field in order to maintain the required time fit for management. Also, I learned how to work the stations in the restaurant and learning how to work in each station with different tasks. On the job, I was shown how to greet the guests that would approach the restaurant and how to take orders as well as learned to prepare orders while taking precautions.
The management of the occupation was satisfactory, but there were minor errors in the functioning of the jobs. Their managers including assistant and night and day shift managers who were willing to work with the employees and were willing to comply with requests. Employees in the workplace were sociable and agreeably hard working, but during certain hours their were some who were at moments during the shift hours who were vulgar and rude especially to the customers.
The difficult part of the job was learning how to approach situations which involved problems with either fellow employees or customers. At certain point during the day or nightly shifts, it was troubling to keep the time of the drive thru at the required rate that needed to be met.
The intriguing and incredible part about working in this particular field was getting to know my managers and fellow employees by developing a strong work relationship. Though exhausted and feeling sore, I enjoyed getting to work even on the days I was not required to work and earning overtime on certain days where we were down on crew.
