About Randolph School

The Randolph School is a unique, progressive school for pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade children.

Grounded in the educational philosophies of John Dewey and Jean Piaget, the Randolph School was founded in 1963 to offer a child-oriented holistic method of education. Randolph serves families who seek an alternative educational experience for their

The Randolph School is committed to serving a diverse population of students. Our student population, from Dutchess, Putnam, Ulster, and Orange counties, has significantly increased in the past ten years. The Randolph School values diversity, and our students represent the general population's diversity of economic status, race, ethnicity, abilities, and language.

The Randolph School's curriculum is based on integrating areas of study, in which information and materials are presented in a challenging, relevant, and open-ended way. This stimulates curiosity, creativity, innovative thinking, and a life-long love of learning. Each year a chosen theme becomes the central focus of the Randolph curriculum. Music, dance, and the performing and visual arts are consistently integrated throughout the learning experience.

We also run after-school programming throughout the school year, as well as a dynamic summer program, all of which are open to the public. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
