Assembler (Former Employee), Houston, TXJuly 2, 2014
Pros: vending machines were available and often free ice cream&hotdogs
Cons: we took (2) 10 minute breaks and (1) 30 minute break
I worked long hours on over night shift from 8:30 pm to 6:00am.I learned how to use electrical drill tool, management was strict,co-workers were ok did'nt really have a lot of time to talk due to rapid movement of line. The hardest part of job was the over-night hours. It was nice being able to recieve your paycheck on debit card.;

Great company to gain experience and knowledge of the corporate world.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Houston, TXJuly 2, 2014
Pros: great hours, great food and training.
This position required several hours spent on the phones assisting customers regarding benefits.
I learned how to work with Lotus Notes, Windows NT, and software to access customers accounts.
My co-workers were very helpful and supportive.
Working at a call center can sometimes require a lot of hard work and dedication. Meaning that sometimes you have – more... to sacrifice a couple breaks if on a call with a customer. – less

Challenging, but a dead end
Branch Manager (Former Employee), Columbia, MOJune 30, 2014
Pros: monday-friday hours, decent compensation
Cons: poor bonus structure, inexperienced leadership, leadership will ignore you if you have a "sticky" problem.
Days were the same ... cold call businesses and work to sell them staffing solutions. Easy to burn out. Management is not in the region and does not comprehend market needs or respond to needs of branch team. Good mid-level job, but little opportunity to go anywhere with a career. If you are seasoned and seeking advancement, this is not for you. You – more... will spend your days interviewing people simply to accrue KPI points, even when there are few employment opportunities in the market. – less

My assignment through Randstat was enjoyable.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Bartlett, TNJune 30, 2014
Pros: management believed in nutrition.they provided fruit and vegetable smoothies every morning.
Cons: temporary assignment
On my assignment, a typical work day involved showing up on time, talking to customers in a call center environment, updating customer accounts and processing customer payments.
I learned the company's products and software program.
Management was knowledable and motivated to train its employees for success.
The co-workers were enthusiastic and motivated – more... to work.
The hardest part of the job was leaving, since it was a temporary assignment.
I enjoyed the atmosphere within the company, everyone was upbeat and motivated throughout the day. – less

Contractor Services (Former Employee), FloridaJune 30, 2014
Pros: weekly pay
Employees for Randstad changed frequently. Even though this was a contractor position and you were working for other companies. Randstad did not stand up for their employees rights and anything these other companies said they went with. Even though they were aware of the work situations.

Terrible place to work
Account Manager (Former Employee), Houston, TXJune 30, 2014
No chance for advancement unless sales are EXTREMELY high. This is an entry level job and has no career path whatsoever. Management is micro-managing, numbers focused on metrics that are impossible to hit. High turnover, no direction, no focus.

JEA - Real Estate Specialist (Former Employee), Jacksonville, FLJune 25, 2014
Pros: being placed at great companies
Cons: contract endings
Whenever I would look for work they would always have a placement for me at an incredible company.

I learned to work in different types of environments and with different types of people.

The hardest part is whden an assignment ends at a great company.

The most enjoyable is meeting all the different people and all the great skills I gained.

Vanguard Contractor (Former Employee), Charlotte, NCJune 25, 2014
Not consistent on keeping contractors working. They are okay company but they don't work hard to find new jobs for contractors who contract is ending.
