Tough culture but good for younger professionals. Not great for work life balance for those with children. However, RB is filled with young very bright, well educated people and represents a true multi-national organization. Compensation is amongst the industry leaders.
Motivates new talent and gives opportunity to learn
Analytical Chemist I (Current Employee) – Montvale, NJ – June 23, 2016
Great company at most levels - everyone is supportive of each other and has a great time together Interesting projects - I have worked at making a positive contribution for 7 years A great culture - coming to work is fun Sometime things get heard through the grapevine before they are announced.
TEAM LEADER (Current Employee) – Saint Peters, MO – May 27, 2016
Overall too stressful of an environment for me to continue to work there. Off-shift has no support at this place. Typical day at work usually starts chaotic with over 30 people to manage on a team. The schedule is constantly changing on a daily or hourly basis. Management likes to push the blame on everyone else but themselves.
If you like "me" and "I" culture, this is your CPG home. Culture promotes employees who have done well in role which is good, but, also promotes bloodying your co-workers to get ahead. Frequent turnover, especially in HQ office, as people join and leave company. Which also makes communication difficult as you're constantly dealing with new people who are not trained.
Associate (Former Employee) – Salt Lake City, UT – March 16, 2016
The Salt Lake Cite site is a total circus. Departmental infighting, zero trust between different working groups, no ownership of processes. The procedures in place do not reflect the actual processes that are used. The company motto of "Speed over Perfection" is completely inappropriate in a GMP environment.
Only way you can have work/life balance is if work is your life. The typical employee is expected to do the work of multiple people. The training is a joke, a total sink or swim mentality. Project planning and deadlines are decided without the benefit of those pesky things called "facts". Extremely stressful environment.
I would totally avoid working here if possible.
Some very cool people, possibility of international promotion
A typical day is boarder-line frantic due to constantly changing priorities and unrealistic timelines, resulting in a poor work-life balance, high stress environment and a cut throat culture. The management team is making strides to improve the culture but has a long way to go. On every team there is at least a few bad eggs that disrupt collaboration and undercut the rest of the team, so most of the good employees leave after a few years. While they pay well and the benefits are good, it's not worth it for the long haul.
Sales conference trips, Good benefits/compensation

There is nothing typical in a typical day at Reckitt Benckiser. Very Toxic atmosphere An overflow of meaningless meetings and management holds you accountable for work that cannot be completed due to magnitude of meetings. Never praised for your endlessness of efforts to not only support your group but the entire facility. You have to watch your back at all times, everyone there is about climbing the ladder while stepping and doing or telling lies to make themselves look good off of your hard work and innovative ideas. Constant manipulation from the top of upper management to supervisors They don't know or care about the core hard minded individuals who have dedicated there invested time within the company. If you are hired, your lucky if you can last or sub stain past 3 years there. Good luck
