Expediting Manager (Former Employee) –  Canton, GAOctober 9, 2017
I worked here for about 6 months and didn't stay long enough to receive benefits. The environment was not what I was accustomed to or what I was told it would be like in my initial interview.

Lousy Place to Work
Senior Engineer (Current Employee) –  Oxford, CTSeptember 16, 2017
Poor salary and benefits. Raises and bonuses are terrible and don't even cover inflation, so what is the point. 401 k is a joke! New product and process development group needs to be called the Muppet Show as it is nothing more than a dog and pony show. If you have a real education, work for a company that appreciates its employees and knows what to do with them. You will not learn anything useful at this company.
Pros
Always lots of parking
Cons
Compensation and benefits are terrible

Customer Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Santa Fe Springs, CAMarch 5, 2017
Flexible work hours, decent management, hardest part of the job is trying to do your best while having to fix other departments issues. Intercompany policies need major work. Lots of overhead and not much problem solving going on.
Pros
Flexible hours within reason, allowed to work independently
Cons
Poor health care, poor job advancement

Management has their blinders on
Manufacturing Engineer (Former Employee) –  United StatesFebruary 2, 2017
Very high turnover, management has proven on many occasions that they don't care about the employee. Benefits are some of the worst I have ever seen. They match "$0.10 to the dollar for the first 3.5%". A tricky way of saying they match .35%. Lies and deceit.

Machinist (Former Employee) –  Oxford, CTOctober 27, 2015
The company wasn't that great to work for. Even though the hours were great the manager didn't really know how to manage a company. He would blame 1st shift for the stuff 2nd shift messed up on

Total sweatshop ! Poorly equipped. No mechanical lifting devises.
Machinist (Former Employee) –  Fountain Vally , Ca.September 16, 2015
This company does a lot of parts in the 100-300 pound range and they expect you to be able to lift up to 100 lbs REGULARLY . This is a company that does not care about its people. They wont pay to get the right equipment because "Its too expensive" , but if you get hurt, they will fight your workers comp claim with high priced lawyers. They even make you sign a paper prior to employment agreeing to arbitration in the event of a legal problem. Now I see why. They should be put out of business. I had to use drills out of my own toolbox because they were too cheap to buy new ones.
They expect you to run at least one other machine while you are setting one up. No air conditioning on HOT Summer days out in the shop, but its icy cool in the offices.
Pros
I can warn others about this place before they get hurt.
Cons
I allowed myself to get drawn into a bad situation.

Heat Treat Department Leader (Current Employee) –  Hartsville, SCAugust 23, 2015
Every department is well managed, great communication set, and very productive. Very exciting job. Hours are flexible, management staff is very supportive of family life. Everyone is easy to get along with and has positive attitudes. Hardest part of the job is unknown. The most enjoyable part of the job is going in everyday and being able to use my skills.
Pros
Work beside good people, great salary, very educational
Cons
Healthcare, Dental
