not a bad place to work
Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  Hartsville, SCDecember 8, 2016
RBC uses a lot of temporary help to keep cost down.Which in turn makes morale low. Yet they want perfect parts with inexperienced help. Then they wonder why they have so much scrap and bad bearings leaving the factory.

Zero job security, worst experience
cnc machinist (Former Employee) –  Fountain Valley caMay 28, 2015
I left my secured aerospace job of 3 years for this place with promises of lots of work, it is a job shop with hardly any equipment, they push for you to finish the work as soon as possible regardless of working 12 hour shifts (I don't mind the overtime) but once you finish the job and theirs nothing to do they tell you to go home early, take tomorrow off too, not even getting my 40 hours a week, don't even bother talking to the sorry excuse of a supervisor, he's only looking out for himself. Layoffs were a regular thing at this company once it saw it just didn't quite need you anymore. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
Pros
free coffee
Cons
Where do I start, no management skills, lack of equipment and the list goes on

Total sweatshop ! Poorly equipped. No mechanical lifting devises.
Machinist (Former Employee) –  Fountain Vally , Ca.September 16, 2015
This company does a lot of parts in the 100-300 pound range and they expect you to be able to lift up to 100 lbs REGULARLY . This is a company that does not care about its people. They wont pay to get the right equipment because "Its too expensive" , but if you get hurt, they will fight your workers comp claim with high priced lawyers. They even make you sign a paper prior to employment agreeing to arbitration in the event of a legal problem. Now I see why. They should be put out of business. I had to use drills out of my own toolbox because they were too cheap to buy new ones.
They expect you to run at least one other machine while you are setting one up. No air conditioning on HOT Summer days out in the shop, but its icy cool in the offices.
Pros
I can warn others about this place before they get hurt.
Cons
I allowed myself to get drawn into a bad situation.

A Great Place to Further Ones Knowledge and Promote Bearings.
Aerospace Marketing Analyst (Former Employee) –  Oxford, CTJune 2, 2015
Fellow employees were friendly and helpful.
No windows in my area, and cubes were a nice size.
Health Benefits package needs some work.
I learned a lot about the Aerospace and Industrial world of bearings.
Reports could easily be done in Access and Excel.
They should implement a more powerful analytical software.

Machinist (Former Employee) –  Oxford, CTOctober 27, 2015
The company wasn't that great to work for. Even though the hours were great the manager didn't really know how to manage a company. He would blame 1st shift for the stuff 2nd shift messed up on

The people. That's the key. They know how to get the job done regardless of the management. We all know how to be treated. We just accept it because we know the bigger picture. The kids at home
