Financial Associate and Client Service Manager (Former Employee) – Rapid City, SD – December 18, 2017
I loved working at RBC. I wish I'd started 20 years earlier! The people were awesome that I worked with, the resources were generous and available, and the clients made the job very interesting. I worked during a tough time in the market, led a construction and relocation project and loved it all.
Staff (Current Employee) – Raleigh, NC – December 10, 2017
In my experience there isn't much room for growth. Although I've asked, numerous times, I've never received an answer on what I need to do to advance to the next level. I've also seen several co-workers leave the company because they weren't promoted or given a decent raise only for them to be replaced by someone with less experience at a higher level. There are certainly some nice people here but management should wake up and give raises that are competitive in the market.
Advisor, Support (Former Employee) – Raleigh, NC – November 25, 2017
RBC Canada is a great place to work, but RBC Bank GA does not reflect the same cultural commitment either to clients or employees. They are trying to improve this but are stymied by several large blind spots in the management structure. A new restructuring plan may help or may be the next buzzword they try out without enough thought.
Some big company perks. If you are Canadian or willing to relocate lots of opportunities.
Too many silos, cliques, and drama. Very low increases, not merit based (new hires making more than me within 3 years)
Loan Originator (Former Employee) – Chicago, IL – November 18, 2017
I learned the from the best managers while at RBC. My manager became my mentor, still friends to current date. Great place to learn and produce within the mortgage business. I attended every closing and was excited every day of my time there at RBC.
Intern (Former Employee) – Denver, CO – November 5, 2017
I worked at RBC Wealth Management as an Intern. It was a great experience for myself, because it gave me the behind the scenes view about business. Also, it help me with basic concepts in school. I am working toward my Accounting Degree.
