Hostess/Greeter, security, loss prevention (Former Employee), Prince George, BC –
Pros: employment
Cons: lack of hours
Enjoyed working there for the most part. I feel I was mislead when hired. They wanted me for my skills with LPO, but didn't want to pay the rate. ..........Manger is a bully.

Real Canadian Superstore Review
Grocer (Former Employee), Regina, SK. –
Pros: great salary
Cons: low moral
Typical day at work was repetitive yet simple if you worked hard and fast.I learned how to work at a fast pace to meet customer demand.Management was great here and co-workers were quite easy to work with yet lacked moral. The hardest part of the job was trying to my job and help others at the same time due to it being such a big building. Most enjoyable – more...  part was working with co-workers and management on a daily basis. – less

Great place to work.
Fashion Clerk (Former Employee), Lethbridge, AB –
My day here began with a department meeting to get our positions and duties for the shift. I was in the apparel department and learned how to merchandise clothing for the company. The management team here were wonderful. My department manager would allow us to use our own ideas to make the department look great. In this company there is so much diversity – more...  amoung the workers that is was great working with them. In this job you also had to manage your time well to get as much as possible done by shift end. I enjoyed helping the customers here also. – less

Great people to work with, bad management
Home Entertainment Sales Representative (Current Employee), St. Thomas, Ontario –
Pros: free lunches, work with great employees
Cons: union stops any advancement within company, bad upper management, hour cuts happen often, etc
Don't try to apply here if you're looking for hours or advancement within the company. The people I work with are great, and have made many new friends, but upper management within the company and store, don't seem to understand or know what the employees and customer want. Department managers are all very nice, very supportive people, and great to – more...  work under. – less
