You give busser and bartender a percentage it comes off automatically through computer, but you keep the rest, if there is a party 8 or more the servers split the tips for that party. I love working there so far, I been there 3 weeks, did thorough training, make good money, can get benefits, managers at this Red Lobster are really organized and nice. I have a stomach virus right now and they are very understanding. I hate taking off work especially on weekend you make great money. So far I like it way more than any other restaurants in my area that I have worked, Co workers are really helpful

They started a new scheduling system that schedule you based on three different metrics
1. 50% of your top avaerage (only based on credit card tips, so if someone pays with a card but leaves cash as a tip it counts AGAINST you)
2. 25% add on average (are you selling appetizers, are you up selling?)
3. 25% alcohol sales average

Based off averages they rank you as a 1,2, or 3. 1's get the best shifts, 2's get okay shifts, 3's get the Worst of worse shifts and you might as well not have worked at all. Changes every month.

So to answer the question is yes, they are flexible with scheduling, but keep in mind your scheduling will change every month. So have fun working for this company.
