Any company where one of their core values is having fun is great company to work for. Red Robin is a fun and fast paced environment where going to work is not a death sentence but something you look forward to.
Fast paced, must be able to learn on the fly. Excellent Entry to restaurant.
Assistant Kitchen Manager/Training Lead (Current Employee) – Renton, WA – December 8, 2017
If you know what to do you are almost to an excruciating level left alone. If this isn't the case then you are roped into a streamlined training process that teaches you the in and out of Red Robin Service.
The people are really fun, a lot of money can be made if you can handle big sections, as a cook it really is pretty basic, there are so many different machines for cooking, it's really a game of how many plates can you spin.
If you can master your craft, and build some friendships, it's honestly an easy job to kind of just coast on, but that can be treacherous if you're not actively working towards something else.
You will learn to hate fry refills.
Free lunches as a cook, or 50% off as a server, cool people.
