Former BO; assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, safety deposit box.
Branch Officer (Former Employee), Highlands RanchOctober 28, 2012
Pros: close to my house
Cons: employees not held accountable (management)
Sales are required. Even when you met the sales goals the management would find a way NOT to pay your bonus. Claimed to be the leader in field for technology, i.e. kiosk, atm, online banking, etc. However, the kiosks, atm, phone system, etc. were frequently down/broke/not available - this caused very angry members that we had to handle face-to-face. – more... Very difficult working conditions. Management said they have an open door policy - NOT true. I worked at RRCU for 2 years and there was a complete turn over in the teller line. – less

High-tech credit union equipped with advanced kiosks for members to use remotely to process banking needs.
Branch Officer (Former Employee), Highlands Ranch, COJuly 2, 2012
Pros: close proximity to home, located in busy location.
Cons: no personal banking available to members, no pin numbers available on members' debit cards, poor benefits plan.
A typical day at Red Rocks Credit Union would consist of assisting members and non-members with their banking needs. This would include processing deposits, issuing cashier's checks, processing cash advances, accepting loan payments, and aiding members when needed with remote transactions. My job would also include faxing and receiving documents to – more... and from members. Scanning documents would be a daily task as well. While working with Red Rocks, I learned a lot about XP, as well as adjusting to a unique form of banking-remote delivery. – less

Cons: possible long hours if issues occur unexpectly
Great technology, ahead of their competitors. Cutting edge and top rates offered to members.

Great technology - only if it works. Frequently the kiosks, ATM, online banking are broken.
