Red Roof was a great opportunity for me to gain skills and enhance others.
Guest Service Representative (Current Employee) – Dillon, SC – February 22, 2017
It was a great place to work but it had no room for growth and the income level was at a standstill. However, I enjoyed the workplace and environment. I remained there because of the job and not the pay. I was very loyal and dedicated to the job but not for the pay. I enjoyed working the public.
General Manager (Former Employee) – Sioux Falls, SD – February 9, 2017
I made this Company its first One Million Dollars in my first year as General Manager and also dropped their Customer Complaints to Zero and was promised a Salary and Bonuses that I never received!! I was threatened many times by the Owner that He would terminate all my staff every time He came from his Out of town home and would find one issue out of place. He was very intimidating and rude and not appreciative at all of our hard work!!
Great returning Customers and great Employees working for Me!!

Housekeeper/Front Desk Clerk (Former Employee) – Augusta, GA – January 30, 2017
the regulations and actual work isn't so bad, however the pay is not worth the work. you get paid minimally to do several jobs and work long hours. it could be made easier by management but is not due to "costs".
The pay sucks. The job is good. I love the homey feeling of the hotel and the people are great to work with. Even the Manager are great.
Front Desk Agent (Current Employee) – Fargo, ND – January 24, 2017
It's the pay it sucks around here ten dollars an hour for all that an employee has to do. No rashes just gift card. No bonuses from the company just gift cards to the Walmart. I don't get it. No wonder they can't keep no one here. I'm not complaining about the work but I just applied to front desk, at ten dollars an hour but for the work that gone with front desk is wrong for the money.
HOUSEKEEPER (Former Employee) – Virginia Beach, VA 23455 – January 22, 2017
typical day at work was ok it really a job i was pleased with having but it was a job..really learned people that management thier own business really do not care to much about keeping the maintenance up..management was not what i expected and the workplace culture ok the hardest part of the job was getting the cart loaded and getting it back to the floor that you were working on that day...
