Is there kind of training provided to prepare new Associate Agents for their positions, i.e. showing home giving tours and communicating with potential clients?

Yes, there is online (paid) training you must complete as well as shadowing senior agents on tours before you are off on your own. If you have previous real estate experience, you may only need 2 tours. If you have little-to-no hands on experience, you may shadow for much longer.

You do 10 hours of online training plus shadow 1 if each event. It is essential that the agent reaches out to his/her local association to take a free class to learn how to use the mls, showing service and card to get into lockboxes if they are new to the industry. These are things you dont learn when getting your license and Redfin doesnt teach during training because every market is different.

Yes there is in house paid training and online courses for all new Associate agents. The training goes over everything an Associate will need to do in the field.
