Founded in 1969, ReDiscover has a 47 year history of addressing the need for community-based mental health services. The mission of ReDiscover is to deliver mental health and substance abuse services to help individuals and families achieve healthier and more productive lives. ReDiscover serves over 9,200 individuals each year. Services are provided to persons who are indigent, uninsured or underinsured as well as individuals with private payer sources. Individuals are targeted for comprehensive treatment to maximize their ability to live independent, productive lives. Service provision includes: individual, group and family therapy; psychiatric evaluation and rehabilitation; medication management; crisis intervention; acute day treatment; health care assessment and care coordination; and on-site pharmacy services.
ReDiscover employs over 450 staff including: psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, psychologists, physicians, rehabilitation practitioners, and administrative staff. Mental health staff are licensed, qualified mental health professionals. Nursing staff are licensed and certified in Missouri. The agency is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), licensed by local and state authorities and is a certified provider of the MO DMH and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. – less
