Young Company still figuring it out
Freelance- Textile Designer (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CANovember 21, 2015
Overall Reformation has a strong design aesthetic and brand image, but internally they are a little unorganized. Reformation is growing and rebuilding their structure, but overall my freelance experience was pleasant and they were very prompt with their responses and design direction.

STYLIST (Current Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 11, 2015
this company is very good at hiring talent and then losing their entire staff due to the mismanaged corporate office and and retail managers.

Management creates a bad culture
coordinator (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CANovember 4, 2015
Management is very exclusive and doesn't like to involve anyone in projects. They always advertise that they are "collaborative" but say one wrong thing and you'll likely be put on a people development plan, which basically is a buffer so they don't have law suits thrown their way when they fire people. Multiple people are fired weekly and management openly jokes about it so there is a very hesitant atmosphere in the workplace.

However, it's a growing company so there's a lot of opportunity to learn how a successful company is built. There are some benefits and perks, but it's often outweighed by the heavy atmosphere.
Pros
dog friendly, clothing discount, paid volunteer time off
Cons
exclusive, catty, holier than thou, nobody speaks to anyone new

Warehouse/Production lead (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJune 20, 2014
No day was ever the same, very challenging and exciting. The most enjoyable part was the relationships and interactions you gain with people in the business.
Pros
Great co-workers, caring owner
Cons
horrible management

Energetic, innovative, and youthful work environment
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CADecember 2, 2013
A typical day at work at Reformation includes the following in chronological order:

1.) Clocking in

2.) Changing into the brand's clothing

3.) Getting on the sales floor to offer individual customer service to clientele, managing fitting rooms, and ringing clients up at the cash registrar.

4.) Going back into the stock room if need be throughout the day to organize new inventory that needs to be put out on the sales floor.

5.) Organizing inventory on sales floor, and making sure that the store is clean, presentable, and aesthetically pleasing to the client throughout the day, and especially so before store closing.
Pros
young and creative working environment, daily exposure to meeting new people and thus making new connections
Cons
the pay, benefits, and amount of hours
