SIRCC maintains a specialist lending library of more than 3,500 titles. It also has a database of articles relating to residential child care and publishes a bimonthly bulletin of recently published and relevant articles. The library will compile a list of topic-specific resources on request. SIRCC publishes books and training materials on issues of – more... concern to residential child care workers, including the Scottish Journal of Residential Child Care, Practice Papers, and the more informal ,SIRCCULAR' newsletter. Research is a priority for the Institute and is led by the Professor of Residential Child Care. We aim to work jointly with practitioners and young people to carry out research projects.
