A day at Resorts World Casino
Cage Shift Manger (Current Employee) –  Queens, NYMay 28, 2013
A typical day is coming about 30 minutes before my scheduled time to check emails, call outs, approved time off, and have a shift briefing with the previous shift manager. The biggest learning experience for me was learning how to open a casino. The hardest part of my job is trying to stay busy. I am very organize and within the 30 before my shift I answer emails and issue disciplinary write ups. Th most enjoyable part of my day is when all of the banks balance without my help.
Pros
meet nice people
Cons
no break and the food is horrible

Public Area Cleaner (Former Employee) –  Queens, NYOctober 9, 2012
Weekdays were not so busy but weekends were packed. Since I worked overnight must of the general cleaning took place between closed hours of 4am-8am, which included cleaning & sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping and mopping. I've learned how to manage time and work as a team to get the work done.
Pros
$2.50 lunch everyday with a wide variety of choices, good health benefits and dental.
Cons
lack of union at the time, rude customers & unfair supervisors.
