So for starters before you get started you work two days no pay for training. Then day three you get orders on your own . You have start up fees. Equipment fees(that you pay every week not just until the equipment is payed off),insurance ( even if you already have insurance ) advertisment fees ect. And YOU ONLY GET PAID BY TIPS. no hourly fee or gas and milage. Starting out you get jobs for 4-10 tips.... so your paying more in gas the orders do get better unless you make the dispatchers mad then it's back to the lower orders.
They give you an option to accept or decline orders that you want or dont. If you decline they get upset with you even if you don't have enough time to make it to the order ( sometimes sent orders 20 min before having to be at the restaurant )
Most of the drivers are friendly and you meet some good people when dropping off the orders . But as for the office employees and dispatchers I couldn't say the same. Very unorganized with the dispatching they need to plan orders more accordingly and time wise.
Only did this job for extra cash and sometimes it worked out other times I paI'd more in gas than I made for the week.
Plus side is you get paid weekly.
good job for someone who needs extra cash and has a smart car.
