fun and friendly work place. TV on the sales floor so we could watch sprts or play video games
Sales Rep (Former Employee), phoenix, az – May 2, 2013
Pros: very relaxed
Cons: too far from my home
I enjoyed working with the other representatives and some of the management was pleasant but most of them would pass you by if you had questions or concerns during call and would not give you a proper answer

Strong support with leaders on floor, learning opportunities
Sales Representative (Current Employee), Tempe, AZ – February 11, 2013
Pros: strong energy on the sales floor, spiffs, great management, constructive critisism.
Cons: only entry positions open for the same department and position i currently hold, not much room for growth for the next year, to year and a half, fear of getting stagnant.
In a day's work of the current position I hold with Revana, in the Google department, there's a lot going on! The management here is awesome and are always giving feedback for improvement. I've learned so much about my personal work habits and am constantly adapting to others' personalities (and effectively, too) to make sure the day rolls on as smoothly – more... as possible. I have met a lot of phenomenal network contacts and have enjoyed the time I've spent for almost the year that I have been here. Unfortunately, as far as advancement and opportunity goes, I feel this was a great learning experience to help me move forward, but the department of Google is not expanding anywhere else but the department I am already involved in is not expanding anytime soon and is rather secure in the contract drawn up with the call center, Revana. With that being said, there is not very much room to move forward or even laterally, for the next year or so. I'm at a point in my life where I'm getting involved with school again, and I want to be sure that if I'm going to school to further myself in a career, that it is not in vain and that the opportunity of growth is there. I absolutely love my job, but have heard great things about your company as well and how satisified the employees there are. Also, from my reference, I've found out that your company is growing vastly and quickly. I would love to be a part of that and use this job as inspiration to turn this opportunity into my career and to enroll in school for something that will help me move up within your company over the years. – less

Former employee of 3 years
Former sales manager (Former Employee), Tempe, AZ – December 5, 2012
Pros: good location
Cons: employees not valued
Overall a good working environment. Company is going in a horrible direction by that I mean they are looking to launch client that would pay the sales reps even less then what they are already making. Commission and bonus are most often capped at just a few thousand per month. The level of professional is not there with most people that work there. – more... They also hire senior management that have little to no experience. Great stepping stone if you are just getting into sales but if you are a serious professional I would not consider revana. – less

A very stressful place to work, Reaching compensation goals and they change it 3-5 days before end of month, Commission paid every 2 months
Inside Sales Representative Revana (Current Employee), Tempe, AZ – November 2, 2012
Pros: that i get to help people build and grow their business
Cons: that this company does not value it's employees
Login and Auto In. Calling back customers in my open que or conversation que. Reviewing ad campaigns with customer before I have them enable adwords campaign. Making changes to existing customers campaigns.

I learned and got Certified in Google Adwords for Display Network, Search Network, and YouTube.

To many bosses, managers are not motivating, and – more... they do not know how to manage people. Threatening the sales people with write-ups or firing, via email before their shift starts, and they never follow through with the threats, but it lowers moral, which lowers motivation, which lowers revenue. Changing compensation based on numbers close to end of month. Not paying good sales people a decent base salary and deceiving the vendor about that base salary.

The hardest part of my job is dealing with people who do not know how to work a computer which is necessary when signing up for Google Adwords. You learn to be very patient with them.

The most enjoyable part of my job is when I speak with the customers and give them awesome service while building their adwords campaign or even if they are just gathering information. – less

Revana represents many different facets of the business world and companies and most people could find a nice fit here.
Sales Associate (Current Employee), Tempe, AZ – September 2, 2012
Pros: i love working 8 hours/day, day shift, with every weekend off. fair base salary (for the work) plus commission.
Cons: must be prepared for constant change and often mundane work.
Revana has many locations, even in the Phx area. Each location subcontracts to many different fortune 500 companies. With so many option of so many companies you could potentially work for, most people should be able to find a nice fit. The hours are also nice (but still depends upon your position).

Long Timer Finally giving up
Marketing Campaign Specialist, Google Adwords (Current Employee), Tempe, AZ – July 5, 2012
Pros: flexible with vacation and sick days, quality people, large well funded and stable
Cons: everything else. (pay, benefits, buildings are old and dated, equipment is not up to date)
Revana is full of good people. That however is the best thing I can say about this company. The compensation is poor at best for the average worker. They constantly revamp the commission structures to seemingly keep people from hitting goals. They often out promise clients to levels that revana has had to cancel client contracts because they cannot – more... make money. With clients begging to stay because their goals are being easily met. They are consistently removing advancement opportunities in reorganizations. (my current program has beenreorganized 4 times in under two years.)

The management staff seems disorganized and appears to be guessing at the appropriate strategy most of the time.

The culture is above average they do seem to hire quality people and most of them manage to keep a good attitude. But the lack of pay, opportunity & support eventually breaks almost everyone. The high turn over rates of call center environments do not disappoint here.

I stuck it out for four years hoping for a better tomorrow that never came. – less

Great enviroment to work and have fun
Customer service rep. (Current Employee), Tempe, AZ – May 31, 2012
Pros: office job
Cons: short breaks pay and health care
Filling any customers need when they call in. Inform them of information they are requesting as well as confirming theyre info. What i have learned from this company is to learn how to treat a customer even better and how to really go above and beyond for cs. The management here is really great, they dont micromanage and the coaching they give is really – more... awesome. Hardest part of the job is there isnt a hard part. Most enjoyable part of the job is just to be able to wake up and come in and have a purpose. – less
