RevelTouch ( is a Palo Alto-based startup revolutionizing mobile e-commerce. We have a highly experienced executive team, great engineers, marquee customers, top-tier investors, and a rapidly exploding market - mobile e-commerce. Mobile and touch are changing how people work, play, communicate, and shop. The last part - changing how people shop - is what we do. Our first challenge was building a platform for creating amazing native iPad applications. We've done that - our apps are routinely featured by Apple as the best of the best e-commerce apps. Now we are doing the same for HTML5 apps.

We have several opportunities for top-notch Javascript/HTML5 engineers to work on both desktop and mobile applications as a part of our mobile e-commerce platform. Our desktop team is working on a highly sophisticated browser-based application authoring environment. This HTML5-based web application allows non-engineers create highly sophisticated mobile e-commerce applications. The mobile team is working on the runtime engine to deploy these mobile applications on a wide variety of mobile devices. We are looking for senior engineers who can contribute to either or both of these teams.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Deep understanding of Javascript
  • Experience with HTML5/CSS3
  • Programming experience in at least one other programming lanuguage: Java, C++, C#, Objective-C
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a software engineer, building sophisticated applications rather than web sites.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Math/Physics

Note: these positions are for hard-core software engineers, with deep undersatnding of Javascript, algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles. This is not the right position for Web designers, Web developers, UX/UI designers, and other folks who don't consider themselves hard-core software engineers.
