We're in search of a few select and proven outside salespeople who are interested in renewable energy. If you know sales and want to know solar (or already do--all the better), then you might be just what we're looking for. Our company is turning Austin homeowners on to solar energy, educating them about the bright prospects of lower energy bills via clean solar energy and the unbelievable affordability of owning your own solar system after rebates and tax credit. Our salespeople are professional, high energy and play for results. We are thinkers, but more importantly, doers. The income opportunity for this position is excellent ($250-$500/day), but you must also be reliable and mature (have your own car, pass a background and drug test, work with integrity and maturity, for example). Responsibilities
Prospect for and qualify residential solar electric system leads (door-to-door, trade shows, etc.)
Analysis of customer's current and projected electrical usage and financial return on investment.
Understand product and process; explain/review clearly with customers.
Communicate with project managers and design team through job completion.
Document all communications with customers in contact database.

Qualifications
Strong track record in sales. Ideal candidates have successful in-home sales experience.
Experience with solar installation, design or sales preferred.
Ability to build and develop professional relationships and a book of business.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills and experience.
Strong ability to set goals, project and meet monthly sales numbers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Apps
Desire to be on leading edge of the solar and renewable energies industry.
Understanding of general construction a plus.
Clean DMV driving record.
Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
