Premium Distributors of VA is an awesome company with so many great people. The focus on safety and wellness is top notch and they really invest in the companies trucks, its brands, all the equipment, the warehouse and lots of training. I started my career entry level and have grown with the company like so many others. Everyone that works here is hardworking but there is a real sense of pride and family. Good pay and benefits and lots of opportunity to grow with promotions and acquisitions constantly coming up. Department managers really care about their people.

Good place to work if you want to start a career
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) –  Chantilly, vaJune 21, 2017
Premium Distributors of VA is a strong company with a lot of chances to move up in the Reyes Beverage Group family. It is hard work but very rewarding and the pay is very good. Good place to be if you want to try a lot of different things. A lot of delivery drivers go into sales, warehouse, or move up in the transportation department. I'm glad I started my career there and have come a long way since.
Pros
Pay, weekends and holidays off, health care, 401k

Too much stress
Merchandiser (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJune 14, 2017
They will take you in with little to no experiance, they will hire if you previously worked at a grocery store, very true no life balance, too much work. Seems like a good place to work at first but once youre there for over a month its crazy. With the workload they give you, start at $14 the hour so if you have no social life, family or kids then you might like this job, but if you like relaxing and doing thing on your days off you'll most likely be just thinking about how you do not want to go back to work. It just to stressful, super micro managed, the salesman and supervisor always on you, have to work 4-8 stores a day. So the work load is there. I say think about it..
Pros
Overtime
Cons
No social life balance

Good benefits-terrible work environment
Sales Admin Support (Former Employee) –  Summerville, SCApril 8, 2017
Used to be a good customer service based business. Now it is all about profits and quick results. Upper management is very much out of touch with employees and customers. Very tense work environment for employees with accomplishments and years of service meaning very little. High turnover rate because employees are terminated or jobs eliminated. If you are looking for a company to utilize your talents and experience, this is not the company
Pros
Benefits and fairly good pay
Cons
No job security and tense almost hostile work environment

A great place to work if you don't mind working hard and most holidays. An organization with a world class portfolio, they dominate almost all categories. Pay is the highest in the industry, with that comes being measured on every aspect of your job. You are score carded and rack and stacked to you peers on . You must be perfect within the sales organization, and ready to handle all issues that arise.

Fun atmosphere with great co-workers
Logistics Analyst (Former Employee) –  Anaheim, CAApril 20, 2014
A typical day consisted in routing out territories for the next days deliveries of product. We were able to find process improvement opportunities within the operations side of the business. Management was hardly ever around and would not find time to have team meetings with their staff. The hardest part of the job was working long overtime hours trying to prove your worth at a low salary payout. The best part of the job was analyzing ways to improve the process.
Pros
great co-workers
Cons
communication with upper management
