Inventory Auditor, Fairfax, VA - July 13, 2015
RGIS is a face paced environment that really only cares about their numbers rather than accuracy. I was never trained properly and thrown into a schedule without really knowing what to do. Some places required early morning or late night access which is not provided by the company, you need to figure it out yourself. I was late multiple times because I didn't know where a store was or how to get into a mall, and being new to the area, a little instruction would've helped. Also, if you aren't there ten to fifteen minutes before your shift is scheduled to start, you'll have no idea what's going on since they start their meetings early. I was never informed of this when I started. They send schedules through emails since that's how this company communicates so if you need to contact them good luck, it's hard to get an answer out of anyone. The management is lacking and the coworkers aren't very friendly. If you work for five hours, you might get a ten minute break, you might not. All in all, if you can avoid working for this place, you're better off.
