Members of the Association consist of manufacturing and servicing companies already established or that will be established on the Island. The Association does not allow individual memberships. The manufacturing members consist of partnerships, companies, firms, corporations, or independent branches of those corporations dedicated to the manufacturing of products inside the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. A product is the result of converting raw materials, goods, or concepts that have commercial value, into articles or services, which attain added value.
The service members are societies, companies, firms, corporations, or independent branches of those corporations that have some kind of important relationship or interest in manufacturing.
Businesses that become members must assign a person to represent them within the Association. This person will participate and will be able to vote during all the activities of the Association.
The Board of Directors has the right to approve or decline any membership application, taking into consideration, among other factors, the reputation of the applicant or of its representatives in the business world and in the community, as well as on the Island, in general.
