Terrible management stay away !!
Security Guard (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAAugust 19, 2017
For me It's too bad that I had to give them one star in any way. They bring customer service to a new low. Guaranteed to under-deliver on over promises. I never thought I could get worse service from a vendor other than AT&T in the late nineties but these guys managed to take the taco.
Pros
Nothing but free food
Cons
lack of professionalism, you have to travel everyday leaving your family behind without any security.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Belmont, CAAugust 1, 2017
They throw managers into positions with out proper training. At my location there was zero respect from the managers to the sales associates. Train your manager how to manage a department!!
Pros
None. Outdated technologies
Cons
Very low salary and No raises.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Belmont, CAJuly 31, 2017
inconsistent scheduling, nonexistent and inaccessible management. We don't need you there to hold our hand every step of the way, but it would be very appreciated if you could gather your teams and give them a thorough vision of what you want for your departments instead of hiding in your offices all day then running down the day before a corporate visit to yell at the associates to get things done that they didnt even know they had to do.
Pros
None. If the manager doesn't like you, you won't move up.
Cons
The company culture is declining with time

Management was terrible
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Belmont, CAJuly 29, 2017
Management expects you to complete endless tasks creating a lose-lose when it comes to the work you do. If the manager doesn't like you, you won't move up. No matter your degree, experience, or how great you are at your job it's all about the quota. If you don't get it your pay decreases and then they fired you.
Pros
I have not found anyone. Stressful to always have to worry about making your goals
Cons
No opportunity for advancement.

Senior Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Belmont, CAJuly 27, 2017
Take better care of your employees, resolve disputes as they occur, value employee input, lead, don't just supervise. Horrible pressure on everyone. Keep putting people down, they will keep leaving but that doesn't seem to matter.
Pros
None. very slow paced environment.
Cons
Unreasonable and ever changing expectations.

Senior Financial Analyst (Former Employee) –  Belmont, CAJuly 23, 2017
Extremely long hours with zero guidance on how we're changing the business for the good. Tons of office politics. Everyone seems to be either scared and on edge to be there. There is no point in offering advice to management. They have no interest in the employees.
Pros
The pay was okay but the workload is huge.
Cons
Lack of cross-functional/department communication.

Business Development Manager (Former Employee) –  Belmont, CAJuly 21, 2017
Such a negative atmosphere, leadership has no direction, high turnover so nobody knows whats going on, terrible culture. Management sucked. No stability. Everyone is disposable. The more you make, the bigger target you represent.
Pros
Benefits were okay but not great.
Cons
No culture, morale is generally low, no training.

RingCentral has the best VOIP service in the industry and the work culture has a Silicon Valley tech company vibe. I took inbound calls, qualified the call and made a sale if the opportunity was right :)

I learned about all VOIP company's a pro's and con's as well as the benefits of UcaaS(cloud services).

This place is great for people who are looking for amazing culture, a very young workforce with lots of perks. Most difficult part for me was changing alignment and getting a new VP that had a different view for our group.

Great people, but too much control over the littlest things. Hard to move up in company. They expect you to take on more work and not get compensated for it.

A 10 year old company that still acts like a start up
Sourcing Specialist (Former Employee) –  San Mateo, CAAugust 17, 2015
The company when I was on a brief recruiting contract was at a tipping point. Sales and Operations hiring was at a fast clip, but ironically enough since the company had their IPO employees were quitting as well. I suspect these employees have vested their shares and were ready to move on.

On the positive side the company secured very big partnerships with other telecom companies such at British Telecom.

Ringcentral has a long way to go but has a solid product line.
Pros
Free lunch, open to having macs and not just PC's as your work computer
Cons
need to pay attention to employees and work on creating a meaningful work culture
