Job Description: Main responsibilities will be verifying insurance information to ensure proper payment will be received from the insurance/payer policy via internet websites or telephone verification, insuring that all necessary documentation is obtained as it relates to payer requirements, standard operating procedures, entering all patient data, Ancillary supplies and Durable Medical Equipment into the CPR+ computer system, providing education to patients on the application, use, care, and expected outcome for products as indicated by the physician instructions and manufacturer recommendations, performing patient/customer scheduling, education, order processing, delivery, and courtesy call back and as well as other responsibilities assigned by the manager.
On a day-to-day basis, the candidate will be expected to performing billing of all supplies and equipments products using electronic claims as well as being responsible for any rejected claims. Other responsibilities include tracking, maintaining and order inventory and equipment. Also candidate will make sure to give the patients the proper documentations and to prepare patients’ charts according the laws of regulations of HIPAA, Medicare or Medicaid laws. To achieve this, you will be working as part of a team. Your work will enable the company to achieve its goals.
Services processed by the DME coordinator: Durable Medical Equipments, Prosthetic devices. Parenteral and Enteral supplies and Equipments, Surgical Dressings, Diabetic shoes, Diabetic Supplies, Aides to Daily Living (ADL’s).

Requirements and Qualifications: The candidate should be a motivated, self starter, fast leaner and overall a trustful person. He will have completed a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) with two years related medical experience; Certified Compression Garment Fitter/ Certified Therapeutic Shoe Fitter is preferred as well as an experience with the application of durable medical equipment (DME).
Having demonstrated strong skills in time management, computer skills, organization skills and communications skills and will be available for evening work.
