Pros: free pop, not hurried all the time
Cons: early start, can get a bit monotonous
Typically the days start off by meeting at the shop and getting assigned a job for the day, these could be anything from raking bunkers to mowing greens. The whole day you are basically on your own and you work at your own speed and when you finish your job you are free to grab a cup of coffee or order your lunch before finding the management and starting a new job. You learn very quickly how to operate a wide variety of machines and the layout of the course. The management is friendly but stern and are very competent at what they do. the co-workers all pretty much keep to themselves but they are friendly guys, especially if you golf. The hardest part of the job is probably the mowing, it is tricky but once you have the hang of it, the day goes by really fast. The most enjoyable part of the job are the golfers. They will thank you and tell you how good of a job everyone is doing and remind you all the time that you make their experience a better one.
