Individual Support Worker, Macon, GA - December 6, 2015
A regular day consists of helping developmentally disabled individuals with daily tasks. The work is rewarding but don't let the decent pay confuse you. The management is weak and inconsiderate. This job is bad for someone with a family. They call you all hours of the night, they are always short staffed. Management doesn't respect nor value lower level employees. Coworkers are more worried about drama and each other than they are about caring for the individuals. There is little if any chance of advancement. The CEO ignores the hard work and issues of DD Residential. Bonuses are rare, but they give a free turkey to all employees at Thanksgiving.
