Litigation Examiner, Atlanta, GA - August 21, 2016
I worked in the Transportation Division for a year and a half. I witnessed a change in management (VP Claims) and the new guy brought his own people with him from his previous job. There was obvious favoritism and the new people were protected from the heavy handed home office claims management. I was well liked and respected by my peers and junior adjusters, but was terminated because of results that were beyond my control. I was branded a "poor performer" after I filed for unemployment and negotiated a better severance deal than offered. At 58 years old, they trashed me in the fallout even though I practically bled for them, and they left me high and dry to find another job at a very late stage of my career. It was wrong and I could never recommend them as an employer for any upstanding and hard working person looking for a company to devote his or her career to.
