Roche will take what they want from you and run you into the ground. Expectations are to work 12+ hours a day in accounts or traveling and to spend your weekends doing paperwork. When there is no longer a place for you in the company due to Roche's random territory changes they will let you go for made up reasons while allowing people with harassment charges and violent offender charges to stay on as employees. Stay away and choose a different company!

Field Application Specialist (Former Employee) – Dallas-Fort Worth, TX – May 25, 2017
Coworkers, Managers and customers were easy to work with. Although, stressful at time, the majority of the time was relaxed. People were willing to answer questions, training on instrumentation was fun and I felt comfortable when out in the field. The hardest part for me was being on the road for 14 to 16 weeks at a time and sometimes work/life balance was not as balanced as it should.

Moral is very low, pressure is very high to get sequencer product out, missed multiple milestones already. Management is almost a Mofia, you will be poorly treated if you are not in the gang. They think beating people hard can get things done.... just think again, this is not Walmart.

Global Learning Services Analyst (Current Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – May 3, 2017
Work life balance is something to be desired but overall the company makes you feel like you have an impact on the patient. I have worked with the company for 12 years and learned so much during the entire journey.
there is a lot of favoritism. they don't appreciate the hard working people, the culture is never applied or it only apply to a very specific group of people. people tenth to last one or two weeks and then they quit. the environment is very hostile and overall it's working there is a pain.
Manager, Strategic Accounts (Former Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – April 25, 2017
Covered all Roche product lines in NE Ohio I learned a lot about clinical chemistry and immunology The management was very visible to the customer bas and was supportive to the field The culture was Swiss based but understood the market very well Was the leader in lab automation integrated with clinical chemistry and immunology. Had many large customers over 1MM/yr. The compensation was good if performance was solid. I closed one of the largest IDN's in the nation worth 48 Million in business with standardization, consolidation and automation strategy .
