Good place to work. Concern about the product pipeline.
Senior Diabetes Solutions Specialist (Current Employee) – Jackson, MS – February 11, 2016
A typical day at work consisted of making calls on physicians, Diabetes Educators, and pharmacists. I enjoy my days as I get to get out and see different people every day. Over my years in medical sales in this region I have gained knowledge of the healthcare market by calling on physicians ranging from general practice to specialists. I have also had the opportunity to sell disposable medical supplies as well as medical devices to both alternate site healthcare clinics. I have really enjoyed the recent addition of patient interaction on the device side. The most enjoyable part of the job is building relationships with practitioners and meeting their needs to optimize their practice. The least enjoyable part of the job is the administrative work. I also relish the opportunity to get to know my co-workers and be part of a team.
Company allows great flexibility for their field sales staff but expected a very high level of performance.
Medical Equipment Sales (Former Employee) – Austin, TX – January 19, 2015
Roche has some of the best employees in the industry which is obvious when you see there are many employees who have worked there 20-30 years. It is a very challenging place to work and a lot is expected of employees but the freedom and flexibility to run your own territory if you are in sales is very attractive. Roche provides detailed training and gives employees the tools to learn the products and become proficient in their use. Management is supportive and available if needed on a territory level basis. My loyalty to Roche is centered around the quality of people who work there and the relationships I had with them over the years. The hardest part of the job is trying to balance the work responsibilities with family life. It is not a 9-5 job, it is a career and requires whatever time it takes to get the job done. The most enjoyable part of the job is having almost 100% responsibility for every task that comes under the heading of Territory Management.
Principal Compliance System Analyst (Current Employee) – Branchburg NJ – January 19, 2015
The employees at Roche work very hard to provide the products required by medical professionals to aid them in caring for their patients. We are trying to bring all of our employees into a culture of accountability and cooperation; while it is a difficult change, it does appear to be taking affect. My co-workers work to the best of their abilities to perform the required testing and documentation to support product manufacturing and delivery to our customers.
One of the finest organizations I have had the opportunity to work.
Director of Product Training (Former Employee) – Nutley, NJ – January 11, 2015
This diverse work group was focused on the shared goal; willing to help colleagues without question. This was the most remarkable corporate culture, which is probably why there were so many employees with 25+ years of service.
Working within the ever changing regulatory landscape made the work a continuous challenge. You always knew, however that people in every function and at every level were facing the challenge and working through it with you.
On top of all that, the benefits and physical space were wonderful. Even the cafeteria food was excellent!
Order Picker (Former Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – January 7, 2015
Once at work, we would do a few minutes of excercis after recieving our station assignments to get ready for the work day. The supervisor was great to work with as well as the coworkers. The most enjoable part of the job, is when they sponsored me and my family a trip to Kings Island for a day
basically a nice place to work, good benefits, pays nice
Inventory Control (Former Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – December 4, 2014
Reviewing stock levels between two systems - SAP & Exacta Mostly all computers basically work the same That's tough, 1/2 of the managers are nice to work for. The other half are needing to come into the realm to "team" work to get the job none now. About 90 percent of them are good people to work with, The pushy upper management that think they are "always" first no matter what. The customers get what they need and on time

Account Manager (Current Employee) – Central Florida – October 29, 2014
During the years with Roche not only on the Pharmaceutical side but the Diagnostic side they were focused on putting patients first. In any way they would be there for their patients. It was a wonderful company to work for because they valued their employees. They gave us the best tools to get the job done, they asked for input on various marketing ideas and they motivated us by providing a good compensation package.
all the benefits and commissions and sales tools to help make the job more productive
IT Contract Consultant (Current Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – September 9, 2014
Roche treats contractors with a great deal of respect, encouraging them to be a part of the Roche team and new cultural beliefs. I am a contractor and have been a part of Roche for 10 years. I could not ask for a better place to work. No wonder it is on the list of top 100 companies to work for.
