Medicaid Liaison/Reimbursement Specialist (Former Employee) –  Rochester, NYMay 8, 2017
Daily tasks varied drastically from one day to the next. I learned a lot about chronic care Medicaid. The management changed frequently. The workplace culture was professional and friendly. The hardest part of the job was when patients expired. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know the patients and families.

Professional and friendly work environment

Great Career there! Had a great cultural turn around using the Studier Group principles under a great CEO. Had a lot of interesting challenges as the organization grew into a regional health system.

Licensed medical professional (Current Employee) –  Rochester, NYDecember 15, 2016
Staffing!!! The last place I worked that ran like this went out of business. The system has overextended itself financially and is likely headed for some difficulties. Lower level managers have to justify replacing staff as if they are adding a completely new position. If you are in healthcare go to an orginazation that has a stronger financial position than this one.

It's an ok to work for a second income. The average worker does not get paid enough to make it a primary source of income. The stress level in moderate however it does have an "us and them" atmosphere among management and hourly employees.

There is a very rigid divide between support staff and management that is very difficult to breach. Benefits and resources are great.
