Genuinely promotes employee well-being
Principal Program Manager (Current Employee) – Cedar Rapids, IA – July 29, 2017
I have worked at Rockwell Collins since graduating from college. Throughout the past 10+ years, I've had the opportunity to try different positions in various parts of the company. Like any large company, working at Rockwell Collins could be intimidating at first. This wasn't only due to the size but also the naturally complex work and all the smart people there to do the complex work.
Over time, I've gained an appreciation for the work, the people, and how much the company takes pride and values its employees. Of course, there are certain times things happen you don't particularly like (delayed getting merit-based raises by 7 months) but overall, the company does commit and invest a lot of time, energy and money into the employees' well-being (benefits, tuition reimbursement, improving working environments and overall culture, etc.).
