Human Resources Manager (Talent Development)

POSITION PURPOSE

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Manager will partner with the organization in managing and enhancing the talent management process, including leading performance feedback process and learning and development initiatives to foster leadership and talent development at all levels in the organization. This position will also provide Human Resource generalist support in onboarding talent as well as employee relations and compliance needs. This position will partner with managers to counsel on various HR matters while ensuring Company values and guiding principles are always considered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and manage performance management and learning and development initiatives in alignment with corporate objectives
  • Develop and manage the performance management process to ensure effective ongoing feedback fostering employee and manager engagement
  • Drive efforts to ensure that all employees have a set of clear objectives, ongoing feedback and career development/counseling
  • Plan and orchestrate a wide variety of HR-related learning programs on various topics including, but not limited to: performance improvement, management/leadership skills, communication and
  • Administer policies and procedures, coach managers and provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters
  • Provide HR support to management and employees and ensure the consistent, fair application of policies, practices and guidelines
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers regarding employee relations including employee performance and development plans
  • Perform other generalist projects/duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • BA/BS in related discipline plus SPHR/PHR is preferred
  • Broad understanding of Human Resources including employee relations, organizational development, training, and performance management
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present ideas and training programs to all levels of the organization
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Able to be proactive, prioritize work and handle multiple assignments and priorities in a timely manner; project management experience preferred
  • Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and facilitation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow up skills
  • Knowledge of Federal and State labor laws and regulations required
  • Demonstrated high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
