Typical day includes listening to several people complain that they aren't happy with their job. Micromanagement of your time and effort for low skill tasks, with little to no support for complex decision making or high skill tasks. Salaried employees are treated like hourly employees. Senior management is slow to respond to toxic culture and poor middle management decision making. There are some pockets within the organization that enjoy good leadership and can at times be insulated from the dysfunction. To work here you have to have a thick skin, high tolerance for BS, and patience for unchecked egos. If you can deal with all of that the work is rewarding and the finished product is something to be proud of.
