Pest Control Technician, Oregon - December 29, 2017
I have read many reviews. Here is my take. Pay is what you make it. We are not salary. We get paid by the work we do, plus our base pay. I was told a new tech starts out making around 55k. I crushed that with 75k. You are given a route preset when you get hired. After the first couple of months you have the ability to move stops to make them more convenient your and your customers. multiple way to increase your pay, production, product sale or new account. New accounts make your riute bigger also. Bottom line.....you get what you put I to it. Managers are over weld and unrestrained. They use the tallest pigmy method instead of the person that has the skills. Then the dead lines placed on the managers are unrealistic. Having management experience in my background, this is the largest area Rollins has to work on. Bottom line, if you want a job that pays well and you are a hard worker. This is it. If you are lazy and want to coast by.....This is not for you. Your training as a new hire is long. It is worth it. About 2-3 months. So you will be tight for that training period. Adter that, you will make money. The training is live. So you are interacting with other student and trainers on a broadcast. Pay attention and learn everything. This is what will make you a great tech or average tech.....Or an unemployed tech. Hope this helps you in The future.
