The Rose, a Houston based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1986, is dedicated to reducing the cost of breast cancer in terms of lives and dollars by providing high quality, affordable breast cancer screening and diagnostic ultrasound and outpatient biopsies for all women, regardless of their ability to pay.
The Rose Sponsorship Program – more... is funded through individual donations, foundations, and special events held throughout the year. This program assists approximately 2,600 women a year to receive, at no charge, breast cancer detection services from screening mammograms to diagnostic services all the way to a definitive diagnosis.
