Rose Paving has perfected a unique business model as a national service provider that, to this day, remains the only one of its kind in the parking lot management industry.
In 1969 Mike Rose formed a small striping business located in the south suburbs of Chicago. Shortly thereafter, his brother, Alan Rose, joined him.
In 1974 a major milestone – more... occurred when Alan Rose, now the CEO, took over the business and formally established Rose Sealcoating Company (the company name changed again in 1980 to Rose Paving & Sealcoating before becoming Rose Paving Company in the mid-90's). Immediately Alan began investing in new equipment and additional employees in order to provide a wide-range of maintenance services including sealcoating (added in 1977), concrete repair (added in 1980), and cracksealing (added in 1983).
Through the years, Rose Paving has become well known not only for reliable parking lot maintenance and repair services, but also for educating customers throughout the process. Back in 1984, Rose Paving produced and hosted the first-ever pavement maintenance conference for existing and prospective customers. Also in 1984, Rose Paving created an educational videotape on pavement maintenance entitled "Doing it Right the First Time. Since then, the video has been updated and a more comprehensive version is now available on CD-Rom.
In 2002, Alan Rose extended company partnership to senior vice president, C.B. Kuzlik. Immediately upon his acceptance, the partners began strategizing about improving and expanding the business. It wasn't long before their efforts paid off. Beginning that same year, the company grew sales by 20%. And, since that time, sales continue to jump between 10-30% each year.
In 2009, partnership was extended to President, Ed Campbell, and Vice President, Chris Tanner.
There is no doubt Rose Paving Company has come a long way in 35 years. Today, with an extensive service offering and customers stretching from coast to coast, Rose Paving is the only service provider focused on parking lot management on a nationwide basis. Our company, headquartered in Bridgeview, IL, consists of over 100 employees, comprised of strategic business units (or SBUs), support staff, team members, and management.
