Founded in 1993, the Lower Merion Symphony is in its ninth year as Orchestra-in-Residence at Rosemont College. Located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, PA Rosemont's McShain Hall is the home of the orchestra.
The orchestra gives three programs annually, including a special performance every year in the Great Stairway Hall of the Philadelphia – more... Art Museum.
The major objective of the orchestra is to make concerts of classical music available to as wide an audience as possible with a special effort to serve the senior citizen community.
