Founded in 1993, the Lower Merion Symphony is in its ninth year as Orchestra-in-Residence at Rosemont College. Located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, PA Rosemont's McShain Hall is the home of the orchestra.
The orchestra gives three programs annually, including a special performance every year in the Great Stairway Hall of the Philadelphia Art Museum.
The major objective of the orchestra is to make concerts of classical music available to as wide an audience as possible with a special effort to serve the senior citizen community.
In its endeavor to fulfill its mission to the cultural needs of the community, the Lower Merion Symphony remains one of the few musical organizations that gives free concerts. – less–ZoomInfo
