Dynamic company with incredible culture
Marketing (Current Employee), Scottsdale, AZ – February 6, 2013
Pros: culture, personnel, structure, benefits
The best job I've ever had! The personnel are amazing, from the CEO to the Executives to Community Managers and staff in every department. The communication, which I've found lacking at other companies I've worked for, is superb here. There is a true sense of team, a united commitment to going the extra mile for customers, and an appreciation of everyone's – more... contributions. Rossmar is a solid company that is focused on continued growth...it's just a great place to be. I look forward to every single day! – less

Untollerable manager, long hours.
Hostess/ Server (Former Employee), Sun City West, AZ – October 10, 2012
Pros: good money in the busy season
Cons: management, hoa owned and operated, hours
I worked at Corta bella Country Club in Sun City West for about 5 months before the manager(F.H.) fired me. Granted we had an issue not invoving work that caused him to lash out at me, and no I was not involved with him. We know each other through friends and family. He handled things incorrectly by firing me. I could have reported him for firing me – more... unreasonably but I had enough of dealing with him. The thing is he's like that with every one. He has been with the company many years and I don't think he's leaving anytime soon. He favors certain people and looks past those peoples mistakes or flaws at work. Many people have gone to him with complints of those he favors but they're still employed and get all the days off they request, holidays are granted to them, give them hours when seniority should come first. It is a busy palce to work at only during the cooler seasons in AZ. Besides the busy season the manager is the hardest part of this employer. Granted you do have a lot of old rude customers but that's a given in a Sun city location. There are some real nice customers though that make up for the rude ones. Most co-workers (aside from the manager) are great to work with. – less
