I enjoy working at Rotary International. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that the work you do is helping others around the world. I also do like getting the 1 sick day per month and good amount of vacation days.
Regional Grant Coordinator (Current Employee) – Evanston, IL – May 4, 2017
There is no room for advancement at this organization. It is a real shame because it overall is a good place to work. There are managers that sabotage you from advancing because they are too lazy to take on more work. I unfortunately know this from having it done to me. They need to take a serious look at who are in manager roles. They are all for themselves and not for helping better employees.
Senior Financial Analyst (Former Employee) – Evanston, IL – January 6, 2017
A typical day in the Financial Planning and Analysis Division is fast- paced and a great teamwork environment. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with cross-functional teams and learning their view of their business area. I had a great team of co-workers who mesh well together and work great together through tight deadlines. The hardest part of the the job is your daily work plan was always changing.

Donation Processor (Former Employee) – Skokie, IL – January 28, 2016
When I first started working at Rotary International, I did not know what to expect but after the first week I felt at home because all the employees in the company were friendly and assisted me when I needed help. I used to come to the company in the morning and worked from my cubicle, processing donations by members and making phone calls to make sure a certain member did not forget to make a donation.

Manager of Financial Business Support (Current Employee) – Evanston, IL – July 31, 2015
The work/life balance is great. Days are pretty predictable from an hours standpoint. Finance work is challenging but rewarding. Opportunities to advance once you are a manager are pretty limited unless you plan on staying there for a long time.
