Laguna Burger
Retail - Cook (Former Employee) –  Albuquerque, NMMarch 20, 2015
usually a work day would start off with lunch, hardly ever did breakfast menu, but lunch menu was more fast paced and filled with customers. I learned how to adapt to a small quick assembly line, learned how to fry foods and multi-task plus to time foods mentally, learned to cook half pound burger, take various orders. Got use to a clean work environment, picked up extra slack and helped others catch up with duties. management was very fair, worked well with co-workers when they kept up with multiple orders coming and going. the hard part about the job was degreasing fan heads, dishes, and closing, restocking and preparing for the next days shift. although it was in my daily routine it was actually plentiful and rather enjoying. it wouldn't be work without the hard work you put into your job. the part I enjoyed was the new work environment and friendly happy customers.
Pros
Customers, cooking, experience and the knowledge it came with.
Cons
Going home with greasy clothes.

Customer Service - Floor Attendant (Former Employee) –  Albuquerque, NMSeptember 9, 2013
Very good casino, with average customers with a great potential for better business but although they enforce customer service relations, the lack the proper employee training. Management needs to better train middle management and supervisors
Pros
Good enviroment
Cons
To far from populated areas

Banker/Cage Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Laguna, NMAugust 28, 2012
Just count in & out the cashiers to make sure that their draws were balanced. IF there were any overage then it required a variance which showed an overage or shortage of their draws.
Pros
good people to work with.
Cons
the small casino was still in operations which was a small triple wide trailer.

Casino Host (Former Employee) –  Albuquerque, NMMay 8, 2012
typical day of work consisted of being availible for the elite players. Checking them into tournaments, writing complementary notes, talking with players. Helping execute casino events. Emceeing promotions etc. Co-workers are wonderful. Hardest part of the job was the hours. 12 noon - 2 am and on call constantily. Most enjoyable part was everything but the hours.
Pros
everything but the hours
Cons
hours
