Foreman (Current Employee) – Richmond, VA – March 20, 2017
Small yet efficient family business managed and experienced through three generations. Roxbury's main source of work deals with the installation of sub-terrain utilities and earthworks. All management and employees are considered family and treated as such.
Case Manager (Current Employee) – Shippensburg, PA – October 27, 2016
Management is poor. There is a lack of organization within management. The HR director maintains a hierarchy within the facility due to being married to another director. The DON & another Nurse Manager have poor management skills. The facility continues to refuse EMRs so they can "fix" records that aren't complete upon discharge. Good employees that resign are placed on their "do not rehire" list as a punitive measure by HR for leaving. Simply a mess. UHS should overhaul this facility.
Poor managerial skill set (DON and Nurse Manager) provides hostile work environment.
Former Registered Nurse (Former Employee) – Psychiatric units – March 31, 2015
Great multidisciplinary staff, however, managerial staff has caused many of nursing staff to leave as well as low morale amongst those who continue to work units. Staffed for census only without acuity being considered, resulting in injured staff and lack of time to complete work within scheduled shift. Pretty good benefit package
