Fast paced and 32 hours is the most you will get. Never a set schedule and sometimes not enough people to work overnight's at busy locations. Regular customers and team associates are worth the work. Management is fair and will work with you.

Honestly i did not like working at the store i worked at. There was way to much drama, short staffed all the time, the managers were barley managers the whole store was just a mess.

Good place to work if you are new to retail, fast paced, wages are good, overtime is always welcomed, I left due to relocation to another state which does not have a Royal Farms.

The pace at which you work is fast, which is nice because the time flies. The goal to keep the customers in the forefront of every decision is only used if the budget requirement is met. The store leaders are more concerned with their bonus check than with what is the right thing to do.

Very day is different at Royal Farms, you never what youre going to get with the day between customers and issues with equipment. I've learned that in this type of environment you need to move quickly and effecently. Also be able to have great communication skills to talk to customers and solve problems that can accure through out the day. Management can be great when each shift is scheduled properly. The hardest part about the job is pleasing every customer. i have learned that you will never be able to please everyone, even if you have done everything possible to make that customers visit a great experience. The most enjoyable part I would say about working at Royal Farms is the people I have met, between the staff and a lot of customers i have come to know.

The job is very standard. The Managers and Supervisor's are understanding but at times things tend to be a little unorganized. Products are sometimes unavailable but overall the employer is a great start job for anyone trying to get on their feet.

• My responsibilities consisted of prepping and serving meals per standardized recipes, and guidelines. Such as: brewing coffee, preparing salads, assembling sandwiches, and/or other tasks. I was trained to take inventory and properly handle all foods, washing, storing, and rotating of stock as required.
• Training and monitoring employees and their listed tasks; daily and weekly.
• Routinely maintained food temperatures during meal service. correctly labeled, dated, and stored food.
• Used equipment and utensils required in quantity food service, and had sufficient understanding of the operation. Took care in proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and utensils used in the facility.

Your day consist of looking at the schedule to see if your in deli or register. The deli is stressful you got tp make customer orders, constently cooking chicken and fries, cleaning fryers and filters thats the worst part. All this got to be done while taking care of customer orders. The register you give the customer gift of time which means having them out of line within a minute. Its diffcult because some people want to count change out exact, dont know there zip code for credit, or taking there time gathering purchases which hold up the line. Also people dont undersrtand you got to drop money out your register often they be impatient, and lottery oh GOD people act like that they are important than other customers they cut or constantly running to the machine while ur busy with other customers and get mad if the slip aint in before the game.

A typical day at Royal Farms is like a typical day at the supermarket, sometimes slow and steady, sometimes hectic and stressful. Hardest part of the job is dealing with unruly customers but the most enjoyable part is knowing you helped a customer accurately and they leave with a smile.

Easy work both behind the counter and in the deli but some crew members and managers are very unorganized and don't put in as much work as other which causes problems to arise.
