Very un-organized, no clear direction
Senior District Leader (Former Employee), Baltimore, MD –
Pros: a few good people, who will succeed with other companies.
Cons: treatment of associates, culture of leadership, do as i say not as i do.
Cut throat culture. Company is run by people without clear direction. Decisions are made on spur of the moment then changed back or headed into another direction. Store Leaders are uncertain of what to do or not to do. Plan-o-grams for shelving are sent numerous times with conflicting data. Leaders are held accountable for zero out of stocks and questioned – more...  continuously when company induced out of stocks exist. Company is going by leaps and bounds, soon will realize that people are important and the culture will change. Most Leaders are unhappy and will jump ship as soon as an offer is there for them. health care system is geared for Baltimore area, other areas in company suffer, Condition been brought up many times, Nothing changed, As soon as they have that AH HA moment about the importance of their people they may become a great company. This can't happen with current Leadersip. It has to be changed and be sincere.
No regard for Family life. They preach a better way of life and then adds workload to Store Leaders and District Leaders. – less

A family oriented workplace with a open door policy, no issue is to small to handle
Customer/Food Service Representative (Current Employee), Baltimore, MD –
A typical day at work is very fast paced, no room for errors. I learned how to be patient. Our mamagement team is doing there best, everyone needs time to grow within a position. I love my co-workers, we are a team. The hardest part of my job is making sure I please every customer. The most enjoyable part of my job is putting a smile on every customers – more...  face as they enter and exit the store. – less

Very busy store.
General Manager (Former Employee), New Port News, VA. –
This store was very busy. High sales in gas and cigarettes, making the store second in over all sales.
