Accounts Receivable Supervisor (Former Employee), Chicago, ILOctober 25, 2013
Pros: hands on experience
Cons: plant problems that cause office problems
run daily reports on customer accounts, credit and collections on past due, charge backs on invalid deductions, short-paid. I learned much about accounts receivable from a dedicated supervisor along with the many courses taken from NACM, we helped and supported each other, we were a good team, we spent time together after work hours, a new software – more... was installed and we all help in the data entry of that process – less

Transporting disabled veterans to doctor appointments.
Van Driver (Former Employee), Warren, MIMay 29, 2013
Pros: discovering different areas of michigan, meeting honorary veterans.
Cons: very few lunch breaks, different daily work shedule of starting and ending, no promotions.
Very long working hours that required travel all over the state of Michigan with knowledge of areas. Working environment very structured in travel time and getting patients to their scheduled appointments on time. Although I enjoyed working with my co-workers, I felt at times they weren't as professional as our company's mission statement required for – more... us to maintain continuous services to the public. Picking up veterans in increments of five at one setting in which they may live any where from ten to fifteen miles apart while dealing with traffic to get them to there appointments on a timely manner. Meeting different veterans and them telling about their service duty while serving in the military. – less

I sat in one work area, cleaned products, put them in packages, put them in boxes and did that the whole day. It wasn't that fun, I sat by myself, and it was very boring.
