TITLE: Wellness and Recovery Continuum Clinical Supervisor, Central/East Contra Costa County

LOCATION: Concord, CA

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Licensed as a psychologist, social worker or MFT in California;

2. Minimum three years’ experience in a mental health setting, preferably a psychiatric social rehabilitation setting; strong background in assessments and diagnosis of the severely mentally ill;

3. Familiarity with a mental health recovery orientation and solid working knowledge of Medi-Cal billing;

4. Interpersonal flexibility, solid teamwork and negotiating abilities, excellent communication skills;

5. Valid California driver’s license, a clear driving record and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential functions include meeting agency productivity standards)

1^ Clinical oversight: Responsible for ensuring that the Central/East Contra Costa Wellness & Recovery program meets all clinical services standards; includes developing and implementing quality improvement plans and controls, and supervision of individual and group case managers and clinical staff;

2^ Medi-Cal compliance: Supervise staff in the administration of/and or directly administer Medi-Cal assessments, treatment plans and progress notes; includes sign-off on eligible progress notes, and attending and coordinating the submission of treatment plans and other documentation for Level I UR with Central/East Contra Costa County Mental Health – this requires driving.

3^ Clinical work: Individual counseling and group treatment for program participants, including on-site and in-the-field crisis intervention;

4. Liaison with other providers, participate in meetings and case conferences and otherwise serve as a team resource as needed.

HOURS: This is a full-time, exempt position.
GRADE: E06
COMPENSATION: DOE
