Shift Manager, Kingston, RI - August 17, 2015
Work was sporadic, if there was no event to prepare for there was no reason for most of the seasonal employees to work. But when there were things to be done it was preparing the building to accept large numbers of attendants as well as building the stages for performers or the basket ball court for the Rhode Island Rams. Most of my co-workers were other college students just like myself although some were recent graduates. The hardest part of the job was the management kept the shifts plan conceled while we were working so no one could be proactive and get things done ahead of time. I enjoyed the people I worked with however and the physicality of the work.
