Great place to work at if you're starting out. Good managers and leads. Policies and procedures are different from branch to branch that could be cleaned up.

Branch Administration Support Analyst (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXMay 18, 2017
Many tenured employees at this organization. Many people have worked here for 30+ years of their professional career. The benefits are good. The workplace culture is established. You will not change it - not that it needs to be changed. There are many opportunities to learn and grow in many areas.

The company is currently in the process of Changing its name and revamping it's brand. That being said at the moment it is stressful to keep up with the changes. But they are changes for the better. I would recommend working here.

Branch banking (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXFebruary 10, 2017
I can honestly say this is the worst company I've ever worked for. Upper management is very clique-ish, it's impossible to advance, and it seems this company is stuck in the 90's. Upper management avoids you, never gives feedback, and is very narcissistic. Would not recommend working here for anybody.

Bad management

Great Job to learn banking and Credit Union culture
Associate Sales Representative/ Teller (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, Texas 78232January 7, 2015
Assist member with banking and products that may need. How the credit unions differ from banking and how the culture is formatted to enhance the members in every aspect of their lives. Management is a military function and typically unresponsive to concerns or needs. The hardest part of my job was learning the culture from my previous banking positions. The most enjoyable part of the job was creating relationships with members and showing them all the products that SACU could offer them and enhance their financial needs.
Pros
Great Team Work and Experience in Credit Union Culture
Cons
Low pay and not many job openings raises are not always every year
