A typical day at work...
Admissions Representative (Current Employee) –  Alamosa, CODecember 4, 2015
A typical day at work consists of patient care, medical terminology, computer programs, scheduling, and lots of laughter. SLVRMC is a place where everyone treats you like family, and has a deep understanding of that real family comes first.

Great people, management issues in administration, but i loved this hospital!
Radiologic Technologist III (Former Employee) –  Alamosa, COSeptember 15, 2014
Good working environment because of the people you work with. Work load is steady but can occasionally seem hectic due to skeleton crew. Good food in the cafeteria but limited to breakfast and lunch only. Good to state of the art equipment throughout the department but sadly lacking in training to go with the equipment. Should have had a more comprehensive inservice in my opinion
Pros
up to date equipment and great coworkers
Cons
very top heavy administration

Being a rural regional medical center, there is a lot of variety in patient diagnoses. It is a close community. Cons are mainly low census occurrences which affect hours.
Pros
variety
Cons
census
