We are currently recruiting for an experienced Safety Field Supervisor to join our growing company. This position will be based in the Carrollton, Ohio area. The candidate must live, or be willing to relocate to, within 30 minutes of Carrollton, Ohio.

Job Summary:

In support of company objectives, oversee the development, implementation, monitoring, auditing, and continual improvement efforts of the business with respect to Company and OSHA Safety standards. This position requires high attention to detail, substantial experience with OSHA Regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate policies and goals to a variety of employees. In addition, this position will develop new and review existing programs and policies to ensure compliance with Safety and Environmental requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts field evaluations and audits safety compliance to ensure safety is maintained as an essential part of day to day activities
Ensures work site compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Responsible for implementation of company safety policies and procedures (e.g. PPE, LOTO, Hazardous Communication)
Performs daily field observation of work operations from a safety standpoint
Proven ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns
Partners with management in conducting accident and incident investigations, determining root cause, and implementing corrective measures
Develop prevention programs addressing accident trends
Experience with DOT enforcement and compliance standards
Conduct job safety analyses; conduct reviews to ensure accuracy
Implement and maintain safety training programs to meet the needs of management and employees
Provides ongoing employee safety and OSHA training and conducts new hire safety orientations
Communicates regularly with employees and management regarding a variety of safety topics and issues


2-5 years of practical work experience in a similar safety role, preferably within Oil & Gas or a related industry
Strong communication (both written and verbal), teamwork, analysis, and judgement
Experience and knowledge working with OSHA regulations
Proficient computer knowledge and skill using Microsoft Office programs
Effective presentation and persuasion skills are a must
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a self starter and with others as part of a team
Ability to walk and stand for several hours per day regardless of weather or conditions
Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy and dusty
Valid Driver’s License, CDL preferred
