If you are looking to relocate on your own, and you have been looking to get into the Oil and Gas Industry, this could be just the opportunity you’ve been looking for. These are entry level positions, but they do need candidates that have heavy outdoor work experience.
Elwood Staffing has teamed up with one of the leaders in the Oil & Gas Industry and this is a great opportunity for candidates to get into the Oil & Gas Field. We are looking for dependable workers, with a Class A CDL or Class A CDL Permit, who also have recent, long-term, verifiable outdoor work experience. If you have a regular driver’s license, getting a CDL permit requires passing a written test at your local Motor Vehicle Office – it does not require a driving test. This position would require that step to be completed before your start date.
These positions are for the Frac division of the company we are hiring for, but they do not require Frac experience. While these positions do require a CDL or CDL permit, be aware that they are not driving-only positions, as they require a significant amount of labor to be performed on jobsites in the Wyoming climate. Candidates may be called upon to drive equipment to jobsites, but 90% of workload will be spent outside loading and unloading equipment, rigging up/down and many other labor type duties.
Candidates MUST live within a 4 hour area of Denver or Cheyenne to be considered. Applicants MUST be willing to relocate within 60 miles of CHEYENNE if selected. Applicants MUST have a verifiable work history showing OUTDOOR, LABOR experience.
Candidates must be able to work shifts consisting of 15 days on/6 days off, which will include working on many weekends and holidays. Candidates will be out on location during the 15 days, so they will not be able to travel back/forth to home during their 15 day work rotation. Housing is provided to candidates during their 15 day rotation and during training.
Qualified candidates will be contacted and set up for 2 phone interviews. If you pass the phone interviews, you will be required to attend an in-person interview with the manager of the department in Denver, on 3/28/14 (location to be given upon passing 2nd phone interview).
